| Becoming a DJ was a natural extension for KC (aka Chris Kaplan) after working as a drummer in various musical groups. Gigs included a trio working weddings, parties and pool parties. She also played in rock, funk and rhythm and blues bands. Chris’s parents were ballroom dancers and passed their knowledge and love of ballroom on to their children. She has DJ’d at weddings, parties, re-unions, poolside, and clubs for over twenty years. While jazz is now my passion, I realize that the role of the DJ is to find out what the audience wants and reacts to. This should be all about you, not about me. I’ll play the music you want.
